Blue Wave Inn Resort (Siquijor)

Front view of the resort from the beach

As I mentioned in my previous article about my Siquijor escapade, my boyfriend and I stayed in this resort for 2 days.

From Siquijor Port, you will be swarmed with tricycle and motorbike drivers as you step out of the port. Some may even offer you about a motor rental. Our tricycle driver at that time was also the one who persuaded us to rent the motorbike we used in gallivanting the mystique island Siquijor.

Personally, I find the fare from the port to the resort pricey. It costs us P300 to the Blue Wave Inn!
Nonetheless, I just tried to enjoy the scenery on the way to the resort.

The Blue Wave Inn Resort is situated in a quite cloistered area from the main road of Siquijor.

When we arrived there, we were greeted by three cute dogs! (heart eyes)

Their check-in time is 2:00 PM and the check-out time is 12:00 NN. In the reception area, you can see some package tours if you want to have a hassle-free tour around Siquijor and also the schedule of the trips going to the neighbouring islands. They have contact numbers of some tricycle drivers to

Their room rates are as follows:
Non Air-con= P1, 200

Air-con= P1, 600

Deluxe= P2,200

(All rates are subject to change without prior notice.)

We reserved the Non-Air-con room since I'm not a big fan of the air conditioner! (facepalms)

Inside the room, there is a television, a ceiling fan, a cabinet, and a small table. The room is good enough to accommodate two people.

(Minus the aircon!) https://www.bedroomvillas.com/property/blue-wave-inn/BC-1660800

The bathroom has a toilet and a shower area separated by a curtain. They also have some fresh towels for the guests. For someone who's used to having hot and cold water for shower, it's quite a disappointment because they only have cold water. (Hello unlucky boyfriend! HAHA!)

Unfortunately, there's no WiFi connection inside the room. You can only use the WiFi in the restaurant.

Besides, they also have a triangular wooden clothes hanger outside your room for your wet clothes after swimming in the pool or the beach.

In addition, their restaurant is so cosy for me! I like the set-up of their tables and chairs because the sparkling blue sea is just right in front of you! You can eat your meal while gazing at the infinite sea and be enveloped by the sea breeze at the same time!

Sea view while eating my breakfast!

Also, their food is simply sumptuous! I would say it's well-prepared and cooked with love! (heart) Their meals range from P100- P350. The staffs are gregarious and smiling too!

Complimentary breakfast~ Yum!

What's more? They also have a small pool just beside the restaurant. You can lay on the lounge chairs placed near the pool and eat some food if you want while marvelling at the beauty of nature.

Take a dip in this 5-foot pool!

On the other hand, if you're a beach bum, you can walk barefoot on the seashore and let the sea take you! I enjoyed the small crabs on the seashore though while my boyfriend took some pictures.

Vitamin Sea!

It's a splendid experience which you'll surely cherish in your heart!

Overall, we had a great stay in the Blue Wave Inn Resort. The location of their resort is ideal for those people who really want to unwind. I highly recommend this resort! Two thumbs up!

Heaven on earth!
